West's game plan was negative and ugly but they executed it well. Plus they handled the wet conditions far better. Bays were certainly cleaner after half time and the intensity and tackling was much better in the final term.

i thought we were great with our defensive effort in the first stanza kicking into a 4 goal breeze, rkn if we had won the toss and kicked with the wind and showed the same intensity as we did kicking against it the game woud have been over at halftime seeing the rain came and the wind stopped at qtr time
