R8 South v West

Saturday 2.10

Both sides coming of losses and both playing patchy football.

Not certain if any of the listed players for South up for a medical test will play. Westies possibly unchanged after a good effort against Port.

Usual.

South by a point with no confidence.

Watched South on the weekend and watched Westies too.

Thought West play more direct footy than South.

South’s last quarter against the Bays last week was deplorable.

I seriously think Westies will win this one on a wet day at Noarlunga.

Gotchy knows the ground well and I’m sure he will be determined for a win.

South many things just not gelling this year. Bit of a worry.

Hate to say but I think West will win by 2 goals.

Some decent Ins for South, when/if fully fit.

To state the obvious South needs to generate some shots on goal. Sitting 9th for inside 50 efficiency.

30 goals were kicked in the opening two rounds of the season (admittedly against weaker opponents) followed by an average of 8 goals across the next 5 rounds.

Yes!
21 Consecutive Losses. Will be 22 as we play Glenelg next week.
Time to start looking for a new coach I think.

With a 2 win 24 loss record. Gotch is Gonskis!!!

Correct!

The game against the Dogs will be our only chance to avoid a winless season.

With first choice on ballers Gibbs and Brownless both gone, South played Elliot Dunkin on ball yesterday. Was very good.
