Yeah, but 3 of the 4 listed AFL outs will likely be released back to the SANFL side, with one being the medical sub.

Will South have a goal in mind before half time this week?

That's young Kantilla, great debut and great story for South.

How great for SANFL football is a successful Crows reserve side. Money well spent on channel 7 coverage of the reserves sides, lol. Put the money in to the legitimate clubs salary caps.

South again asleep in the first quarter, trailing 0-25 after 15 minutes and not kicking a goal until the final seconds. Outplayed the Ravens for the next two terms, opening up a couple of goal lead during the third. Just 3 points separated the teams when Kantilla kicked his third entering time on in the final, but the Ravens closed the game out better, extending the margin to 11 with a goal on the siren.

Kantilla booted 3 and grew with confidence as the game went on, providing plenty of dash in the second half. Impressive debut. O'Neill again had 30+, Gibbs and Brooksby atoned for quiet first halves, young Lovering showed a bit, and Garthwaite present a target in a forward line that again struggled. At the other end of the field the Ravens kicked half a dozen very 'soft' goals from 10-15 out, slicing through South's defence with ease.

3 losses on the trot, with Norwood on the road (where from memory we've been poor in recent years) and the Bays to follow. Season feels as though it could slip away very quickly.

Midday games against interlopers in front of 800 people aren't exactly going to help South's balance sheet either.

Was fantastic to see him go well and the crowd involvement when he got near it. Being a part of Essendon’s NGA zone I hope they are keeping tabs on his progress
