R3 South v Sturt

Friday 1.10 at the original home of Good Friday Footy with the original teams. Just need a different result.

I think (not confirmed) the club is putting on a 400000 easter egg give away, free beer, all the whiting and prawns you can eat plus one lucky supporter in every 10 wins a new car. The other 9 get a house.

We should get a little over 1500.

South come into this game after another win at Alberton whilst Sturt let the game slip last week. I will say credit to Glenelg before you know who has a crack.

Last season South won this fixture quite easily against an undermanned Sturt side. Sturt looked to have escaped injury free from last week but South will lose both Brownless and Griffiths for extended periods. Recent form at this venue is 2 wins each.

I expect Brooksby to come in for Griffiths and possibly Ben Heaslip for Brownless.

I will wait for the teams for a final selection but at this stage South by a point.

1500 tops I think Doc. I cant see too many Sturt supporters turning right at the Noarlunga turnoff on the Southern expressway -they'll keep the Audi heading south to their beach houses at Hayborough and Middleton. :?

They could do worse than stick this game on Easter Saturday down at Victor somewhere like they had done years ago (Chambo kicked a bag for the Double Blues if I recall)

It's not that b&w, it's that their handbrake needs servicing and they fear they might roll into the hordings around the oval.

BTW, I'm in ISO otherwise I'd be there! Spewin'. Go Blues.

Wilkinson out is a blow for South. Surprised to see Milsom and Heaslip come straight in.vI suspect that Sturt will put numbers behind and look to Battersby, Wilson and co to get it forward.

South by a point.

1.9 in a half on your home deck isn’t going to win you a lot of games. Sturt have been kicking the ball well today and love chipping it around, seemed they had loose players everywhere at times

Stunk it up, couldn't hit a barn door in front of goal. Plenty to work with, she'll be right later
