Senior players such as Thompson, Lonergan, Mutch and Sinor all showed maturity and composure at this point and rallied the troops for a gritty win.
Ballenden will be an asset, especially when Redden returns and I thought Hardie showed promise. Norwood played the corridor well and looked dangerous. They will get their share of wins, one of which probably should have been last night.
Our fitness looks good and our desire can’t be questioned but our skills are quite poor.Pseudo wrote:wedgetail wrote:Thought the Eags got out of jail in that one. Redlegs dominated the final term last week too. They have the fitness; don't reckon they're too far off the mark.
