Kyle Presbury from the Dogs a little unlucky to miss selection, as is Mitch O'Neill from South Adelaide.

Bays win both games at the Bay today.

18s most likely play Nwd in the prelim. 16s straight through to the Grannie.

The density free kick to the 18s sealed it with a minute to go. Bit of push and shove post game after the 16s. Hormones flowing

SANFL Hall of Fame inductees;

Matthew Pavlich - 21 games for WWT
Kane Cornes - 36 games for Glenelg
Darren Wilson - 85 games as a boundary umpire

Are any worthy of induction based on their contribution to the SANFL?

It's the South Australian Football Hall of Fame, not the SANFL Hall of Fame. The AFL is the same, the Australian Football Hall of Fame, not the AFL. That's why it covers all states. As such, yes, they are greats of South Australian Football.

Yup SA Footy Hall of fame, not SANFL. Cornesy would have over 50 games with Bays through juniors and Seniors.

He's SA footy hall of fame worthy

Good enough for me then.

Id love to see more grassroots legends inducted, rather than on field champs who got paid handsomely to play.

Pavlich has not made a great contribution to football in this state.

Great call!

It is about South Australian footy after all.

Plenty of local legends that should be included.

Would you give one to a supporter who has only missed watching his team once in about the last 40 years ?

Depends. Has his/her club won premierships in that time?

Probably should not be there.

The SANFL should name a representative side at the end of each season, like they do All-Australians.

If that was the case, Pavlich would have been one of the first picked throughout his career.

It's the era of no State footy at the highest level and you go where you're drafted.

There needs to be a place to recognise those South Australians who have impacted the game at the highest level and this SANFL Hall of Fame is it.

I would also agree that it would be good to see some grassroots legends named for their significant contributions.

What happens with the SANFL sub now ? Do we keep paying per month or does it go into recess ect over off season?
