R15 Glenelg v South

Goes without saying that Glenelg won last week and South scrapped home against Adelaide.
Joel Cross joins the growing injury list at South while Glenelg were injury free at Sturt.
Sorry worrying signs for Glenelg celebrating their 101st year, Their top placed reserves lost to the second placed Sturt by 2 goals.
With their track record of Covid breaches, inadequate change room facilities. poor bar and food set up coupled with that unsightly look and smell in front of the Glenelg primary school, independent game watchers are calling for the league to ensure Glenelg forfeits until they comply with basic human needs. Winning isn't everything.
Impossible to tip against Glenelg.
South by a point.

I'll be happy with a one point win, no injuries and further improvement on the areas identified at this weeks match review on Monday night

Remember it well! We were a complete rabble that year, which was the norm really during that period. A very young Peter Rolfe (a favourite amongst Bays' supporters) kicked a bag.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMTstAS3oxEAs for this week, Glenelg by 5-6 goals.

Have a feeling the ball will be on the ground, or in the mud a fair bit.... I'm tipping the panthers by 4 pts.

Because channel 7 says so.
Remind me again, who is paying whom for the coverage?

**** 5 min to go Bays by 89 pts in the twos
Apart from Sawf who’s had a crack, South’s twos are full of slow pokes and down hill skiers
Some of our goals have been walk ins

This game is my 2021 nightmare scenario.
Us playing timid football, mistakes galore (missed set shots from 30 m with the wind) loopy handballs silly free kicks, chasing ball and body and letting the ball clear the contest) v the opposition having a decent crack.
We’re 2 goals up at 3/4 time but South have the wind
Gibbs clear BOG ATM

Yup, in the last qtr the warriors stood up
Bradley, Snook, Proud
They’ve had more than their fair share of “Ls” from 2011-2017

So Panther fans: Is #17 Tucker a flog in real life, or only when he takes to a football field?

Gibbs BOG... you are kidding??!!- is that because he kicked it to the opposition most times he got it??--- disposals at 20% effiency rate according to tv.
Well your match committee has named him best followed by Broadbent, Overall Cailotto and Schwartz, according the the official SANFL SportsTG site.
https://websites.sportstg.com/round_info.cgi?a=MATCH&fixture=125672368&c=0-3289-0-577916-0&pool=1I thought him and Broadbent were the best two on the ground but they were relative lone rangers for South, where as with Snook, Proud, Bradley, Allen, Curran, Virgin and Durdin we had a more even team contribution.
South’s effort was certainly there.

Well...I can tell you it wouldnt be the first time Ive disagreed with the South Match committee on an issue......, I thought that Broadbent was our best by quite a margin.
Youre right , our effort was there but our depth isnt, our topend is ok, but we have 5-6 players who would only be playing reserves elsewhere,; oh and whilst Caillotto is battling away pretty well, we dont really have a ruckman, (Alex would be better forward or back); and that is becoming more apparent as the weeks go by..
