Terrible game.
Probably the lowest "paying" crowd in South's history but nearly 3000 so good for Victor.

Can I ask why this was played at Victor Harbour the exact time the country champs were being played down there.

Cross rolled an ankle in the first quarter, 2-3 wks.
Pretty poor standard game imo. Although South will take the win.!

It's a win.....(much needed!)
Still plenty of improvement needed. Thought we really should of put them away (we need the percentage) but the Crows came back in the second half.
Need to be much better next week versus the Bays.
Agree with B&W, standard pretty poor IMO. Not one for the highlight reel !

A better result than most of our previous outings down the Fleurieu. Only caught the game on radio so cant comment too much on the overall standard.
As other's have mentioned disappointing we didn't kick on when leading by 4+ goals late in the third and build some percentage, which could well decide 3rd spot.
Gibbs returned to form against his other employer, while others named in the club’s best were Sampson, Juckers in his first league game of the season, Broadbent, Haren and Fitt (we’re a better team when he’s kicking goals, to state the obvious).
Hopefully the injury to Cross isn’t too serious.
Unbeaten run against the interlopers extends to 7 games.

If he comes good then he should still take next week off, just to be on the safe side.

Set to miss 6-8. Wont play against the Bays again unless it's late in the finals

All joking aside, that's a huge blow. I hope that a late-finals clash with the Bays does eventuate.
