The next three weeks present us with our best opportunity for a win... if we can get enough fit players onto the park; Glenelg at home, Sturt away and West at home. Hoping, but not expecting, for at least one win.... it may be a zero win season if we don't capture one of these.
On a good news front, we have a new assistant coach joining us. Jeff's former assistant at Werribee is now living in Adelaide so is likely to join him in the box from next week.

Cheers

Like you optimism but going to be hard to win any of those games.Glenelg may not be going quite as well as last year but they should be to good for us and we have no one big enough to get near McBean. We never win at Unley and apart from the weekend West have been going ok . Good news re the assistant coach pity we couldnt entice any VFL players over like other clubs have done to help us out .

That's a tough 5 rounds of football for the Eagles as you get. South Adelaide , Sturt, Norwood, North and Glenelg

Yep all teams get them.
Lets hope next year a 21 round season somehow works as I think 14 is too short. Play each other 3 times .

Jeff was an assistant at Werribee. So this guy was an assistants assistant? Need a bigger coaches box with all his helpers.

Yes, I should have said 'Jeff's former fellow assistant coach', but heck, the way we are going, we will settle for assistants of assistants of assistants of assistants. We may be asking Big Phil (who btw is now medium Phil... well done on that, my friend!) to don his boots next week the way we are going. After all, he is taller than Gazza and I ;)
