CENTRAL

Central will welcome back its former skipper Trent Goodrem when it hosts South at X Convenience Oval.

Goodrem, who missed Round 2 with an ankle complaint, returns to the half-back flank while utility Nick Gillard and teenager Cam Wild have also been included in the 22-man team.

Gillard is yet to feature at League level this year while Wild, the son of former Collingwood player Jason Wild, will make his Statewide Super League debut.

No Hoskin and J.Schiller will make it tough if it wasn't already.
I'm surprised that Fort and Trav Schiller playing reserves again with a few important players out.

Always a tough ask at Elizabeth.

I don't think Karpany will play and think we must have one other injured. No Whittlesea for me.

Bit of Karma if Tucker plays as he wears Nail's old number 17.

Centrals have been patchy to say the least. But at home and have a great record. Close one.

South by a point

Yes it's on TV.

Still, a ridiculous time, particularly given it's against South.

I'm not sure what is more ridiculous, the fact they've made this match the channel 7 match or the fact the league is on before the reserves.

We haven't won there since round 3, 2019. You've won there more recently than we have.
We lost the trial game to Sturt in March. I even think we lost our internal trial before that. (joke, I hope)

Its going to be wet and slippery and Im tipping the lowest attended match in recent history.
I mean why would you drive from Noarlunga to Elizabeth, with the chance when you arrive of being refused entry....??,
personally unlike many others I dont mind the trip to Elizabeth,at least you can get a carpark within 1 km of the ground!

Panthers by a few points..

Bang on with all your points there I reckon. Shame it worked out this game for the limited crowd.

I would but I will need someone to hold my spot in the queue.

There is a serious amount of premiership clothing, beanies, caps, guernseys, hoodies, flags etc in the line, and most of it is Centrals. Home game I suppose.
