There was a time when the Premiership cup had a lid. The last time the lid was seen it was in the possession of the Glenelg football club. Hope they find it (the lid).

It is a SANFL official in the red jacket who is holding the cup with a PA official standing behind the cup.

The photo was taken from the 1984 GF at the 24 mins of the final quarter (just after Rocky kicked the goal that sealed the win for the Redlegs).

(this one would have been better, sorry)
