What an horrendous way to start the 2006 season for the Eagles - they don't play their first game at Woodville Oval until round seven. Come on WWTFC speak up and get the club some justice.

all the games that have diffrent times to Saturday 2:20pm and Friday 7:40pm are listed, so there are 4 Saturday Night games at Elizabeth, and the Dogs also have a Friday night game @ Adelaide.

Just on the central night games, any word on how much the price of car insurance will go up?

Sounds like the opposite to this year Ian, I am sure Central's played North on a short break!

Everything evens out in the long run.

Interesting point you've got there ferret. This is quite opposite to the past few years where there have been 4 or 5 home games played at Woodville after Round 11 or so. 3 games at Thebarton is great to see, including one Sunday game - against Port, should be 8000 in to see that.

Another good point about the draw is the double headers. This way neutral supporters (and the clubs supporters) get to see two games for the price of one. There should have been one on Sunday, though. Hopefully that gets changed. We don't go to Elizabeth - which is not really a good thing, because of our 10-5 record there.

I think you could be right, but that should not happen to anyone, there is no reason why they can't make sure everyone has at least a 6 day break, or give the sides with the bye the previous Sunday and/or the following Friday.

Having the double header go up against the live crows telecast, when there's no adelaide AFL side playing on the following Sunday or any other SANFL match programmed for that day, just pisses me off.

Central play Anzac day then play on Saturday night. One thing about the double header in rd 3 is where and when will the Ressies play. GF Oct. 8th. What happens if AFL Port play at AAMI in the Finals on the same day and as the SANFL Port at Adelaide?

Whilst the ANZAC day is a Tuesday and Centrals then play again on Saturday, I don't think it is as big a problem as it is being made out to be.

The club in general seems to get it's way with most requests, and if getting 4 home night games was the trade off for a four day break ONCE in the season then I would think on the whole it is a winner.
