A more even team performance is required from Sturt. Last week a number of their players hardly got near it. They still look a fair way off Glenelg. Back at home they should be too good but a spirited Westies will test them.

Sturt 3-3 . 10-8 . 12-10 . 17-10: 112
West 3-2 . 3-2 . 6-2 . 8-2: 50
Josh Hone kicked 6 goals! Aidan Riley and Josh Patullo both kicked 4.
For Westies, there were only 3 goal kickers, Thilthorpe and Keough both kicked 3 and Willsmore 2.
I couldn't attend (last day of school holidays, Latitude unfortunately won the list of activities at the kitchen table this morning) but followed on the internet. I was a little worried when I saw what North did to Adelaide (You Beauty!!!), then Norwood got over the more fancied South, I was worried that upsets might become the norm for this round. Indeed West led Sturt for much of the first quarter. Very pleased to get away with a percentage booster in the end. Much needed, and we have a hard run home to the finals from here.
I think now the real stuff starts.
