Think Centrals dodged a bullet there. Bays should have taken $20k offer for him

Firstly, the $20k figure you’ve quoted is incorrect, it was nowhere near that.
Secondly, (I didn’t see the incident) but it’s being said elsewhere it looked more like a sling tackle & there wasn’t much in it.
Were you at The Bay Oval on Friday to see him reported?

Yes, was there. Looked like clear punch to the head, think video will prove that,

They were the figures mentioned on this forum, thought they must be true then!!

So notice Sumner not named in Reserves team tonight, does that mean he got suspended??

Anyone confirm if he now is banned for life??

Only MRP from round 4 on the SANFL website ( granted, it is shit ) was :

Louis Sharrad (Eagles) – Striking

Conduct: Careless

Impact: Low

Contact: High

Base Sanction: 1 Match

Early Plea: $200 fine and reprimand (Accepted)

They only ever put Senior matches on there, never Reserves.

If he got one more game suspension while playing for Woody South he was banned for life.

If Spargo is correct and he got one game for this strike, will be interesting what happens now!

Checked with my contact at Glenelg and he now has 12 games of suspension. This now bans him from ever playing in the Amateur League again with Woodville South (or any team). They will be rapt he cant come back.

All other comps in the State, including SANFL, have a 16 game limit, so he has 4 games up his sleeve.

Should see him get thru to at least July then!!

It's good you have more than a passing interest.

All for dirty players being kicked out of footy, sooner he is gone the better for everyone!

Interesting stat from last round, not one team that won the game (or drew) won the inside 50 count.

Three of the four losing teams won the Inside 50s, overall possessions and Clearances! (The Eagles won inside 50s but not the Possession count or clearances).
Considering the importance that coaches put on Inside 50s and Clearances this is intriguing.

No offence N this just seems to prove all this Offal (AFL) and Champion Data stuff is BS. To me the only stat that matters is the winning score.
