I'm looking forward to watching a 'pure' SANFL game.

Interesting jumpers on the Bloods. In my memory the stripes were thinner. Of what era is this jumper?

I couldn't recall that from the 80's that's for sure.

Pretty uninspiring win from what I saw. We will need to play a lot better to make it three in a row.

I remember it in 1980, they were definitely back in the sash by 83.

Hopefully one day they wear their original colours of red and white.

You are correct Wedgie. Kerley changed them back to the sash when he returned to coach them in 1981.

Kerley always liked to change the guernsey when he took over a club. In 1964 he changed South back to the big monogram, He changed Glenelg from a yoked V to a sash, he changed Torrens back to their sash and West back to their sash. I think he changed Central back to the Footscray style guensey.

Even this is slightly different to what I remember, but to me it looks different to the 80's guernsey.

I wonder if I'm remembering Plympton or TTG from the SAFA days where their stripes were very slim.
