I am wondering how Port Power can afford these self promoting prime time propaganda on TV these days. SANFL would much more appreciate perhaps them refunding all the cash provided to save the club not that long ago. They are the Port Power now (thats what they wanted) since 1997 but they still draw that long bow claiming back to 1870 (that was Port Adelaide magpies who no long exist or have areas to recruit in SA

By not paying the SANFL clubs for the privilege of staging trial games in their comp, of course!

(Slow day at work, huh?)

Roughly $1m per year to keep Footy Park up to scratch, or more.

How much did they pay for the Westpac Centre land? Land nearby is $440k per 350sq m. ( +/- )

Port Adelaide have always been a part of the SANFL landscape, the Adelaide Football Club has not.

They DIVORCED themselves from SANFL when they left for the AFL. Get it both ways as usual
They're wasting thier money with Ads preaching to the converted and to those that dont support them just making them like them less (They love being hated)

Being hated means you've done something. Being pitied means you haven't. ;)

Ports Ads are part of their partnership with TV channels. It's not like they pay full rate or possibly anything.

This thread should be moved to the AFL section I don't see how it relates to the SANFL.

Until Booney they left the sanfl moved into the AFL
Joining the AFL they lost all SANFL zones
Due to it being against AFL rules

Think your correct up to when they left the SANFL

You should worry more about learning how to use the quote function and less about stirring people up.

( PS - Just one click )

It may show how behind the 8 ball the traditional clubs are about getting media coverage compare to the 2 AFL clubs.

@reddeer, have a good read of your argument, you handing Booney the aces.

As for stirring them up, seems like it was, as pseudo put it, a slow day at work.
