STURT
Sturt will welcome back star defender Fraser Evans for its clash with Glenelg at Peter Motley Oval on Saturday.

Evans, who was a standout for the West End State team this year, has missed the Double Blues’ past two matches with a knee injury.

His return will significantly bolster Sturt’s back six after being named to start at full back.

The long kicking left-footer has been joined in the 23-man squad by midfielder Campbell Wildman and former Glenelg forward Dylan Gamble.

Gamble, 27, has spent this season in the Reserves after previously playing six IGA League games for Glenelg in 2013 and 2014.

Goalsneak Jack Penfold has been sent back to the Reserves.

Glenelg will unleash another midfield debutant in its last match for the season against Sturt at Peter Motley Oval on Saturday.

Measuring in at 184cm and 84kg, the 18-year-old has been named to start in the forward pocket and has been joined by Christian Howard, Aisea Raikiwasa, Brad Merrett and Harley Montgomery in the Bays’ 23-man squad.

Key forward Timmy Sumner is unavailable after hurting his calf at training on Wednesday night while Josh Woodall received a four-match ban for engaging in rough conduct with Eagle James Boyd.

Can't see anything other than a comfortable Sturt win here unfortunately. Evans a big in for Sturt and Summer a big out for us. Sturt by 7-8 goals.

Sturt to win, but the Bays will have a crack and get close. Sturt by three goals.

Could go either way to be honest. Our form hasn't been fantastic of late.
Welcome back Fraser Evans.

Could go either way of a ten goal margin to the Blooze. Glenelg will not win.

I'm actually quite worried that JTC has tipped us. I know we've lost a couple recently without his smooch of death, but it makes me nervous all the same.
I reckon there'll be less than a goal in it, either way.

True.
SANFL is in a very sad state when Sturt and Glenelg draw, and no one can be bothered talking about the game at all.
We have worn all the puns out, now silence is the ruler.

Well done Glenelg! Had very little to play for yet showed outstanding fighting spirit in the last quarter.

Sturt's year has been much better than many predicted. I would have been content to return to the 5 and that has occurred.

The Finals are shaping up as a South v Eagles play-off but stranger things have happened.

All the best to each team competing in September.
