NORWOOD
Norwood has swung the changes for its final match of the year against the Eagles at Coopers Stadium on Saturday.

Midfielder Jake Pitman (shoulder) and utility Ed Smart (adductor) have recovered from injury while premiership players Alex Forster and Callum Bartlett have been named on the five-man extended interchange bench.

Tom Forster, the younger brother of Alex, is set to make his IGA League debut after being named on the wing.

Aged 21, Forster measures in at 188cm and 78kg and is originally from Payneham Norwood Union Football Club.

Midfielder Matthew Nunn, Zac Richards and Anthony Giannini have all been sent back to the Reserves.

Understatement there.
If the Eagles are dinkum and not resting their bodies for finals it should nudge the 10-12 goal margin

This will be a sad day at the footy.
The real possibility of saying goodbye to some favourite players exists.
I'm not naming anyone, it's not my place.
But the feeling at training Thursday was almost sombre, and I expect to go out with a bang!!!

My analysis: Norwood Forster Pitman against man to stop the Eagles' Press. Also, an in-form Dawe is Wundke to a Redlegs' victory.

Allmond to go absolutely nuts. Eagles fans, Ainger happy he plays for your team?

Norwood should make a hard physical contest if they are to be half a chance, since last week the Eagles demonstrated they are suspect under physical pressure.

Excellent quarter of footy that. Eagles playing good hard honest footy and the Legs standing up to it.

By my calculations the Eagles retain top spot. Eagles 57.59%, South 56.75%.

Redlegs should pick up a few local players and a couple from interstate and should be back in the big picture in 2017.
