CENTRAL
Central District has named a settled line-up to confront the Eagles at My Money House Oval on Saturday.
Seeking to maintain their grip on fifth spot, the Bulldogs have added key defender Corey Reichert and key forward Mark Rumbelow to their 23-man squad.
Both players have been added to the five-man interchange bench, leaving coach Roy Laird with the temptation to finalise an unchanged line-up.
Former Brisbane Lion Tom Collier was unable to overcome a rib concern.

EAGLES
Woodville-West Torrens is set to welcome back midfield star Angus Rowntree for the match against Central at My Money House Oval on Saturday.
Rowntree, who has been recovering from a knee reconstruction since last year’s Second Semi-Final, has now played three games in the Reserves to build match fitness.
The 25-year-old is a major bonus for the Eagles’ midfield rotation nearing the major round, particularly in the absence of veteran Scott Lewis, who has a calf ailment.
Utility Joe Sinor and forward Jackson Press, who kicked eight goals from 19 disposals in his last Reserves outing, have also been added to the 23-man squad.
Much-improved Chris Hall must prove his fitness after having a minor ankle injury in his last game against Sturt in Round 18.

I was very impressed with Centrals yesterday. This was a much improved performance than earlier this year. The Doggies are extremely hard to beat at the Ponderosa. I think this is the first time I have been to a winning game there in 15-20 years.(missed last year)
The doggies are a quick side, good tackling pressure and I believe will be good in this years final.

PS Where are all the posters on this site? Its no wonder SANFL is dying. Apart from an odd southee nothing but crickets.

Yep, it's been a downhill decline as the season has progressed...

Centrals were fast hit bodies hard in marking contests and were going after Boyd and Poole
Was nice to see when Wundke and Ainger went quiet Redden and Bomber chipped in .
Nice to claw back a win out there second time in a year to win out there

Tweets, Instagram and SANFL website log ins might still be okay.

Talking about traffic on these sites, not fans through the gate...

To beat Centrals @ Eliz when they threw everything at us (quoting Roy) was satisfying. The first half looked like we had a bye last week and this will be a worry come finals time with another bye if we finish minor premiers. Centrals lacked the final polish in the end.
O'Brien is now an integral part of the side, Rowntree worked his way into the game nicely, Poole and Petrenko were busy and Ainger looks like he has regained form. Gaffney would have to win best first year player and Thommo hardly missed a beat down back. Jarrad looked down on confidence in the first half but his second was more like the Jarrad of old. Lewis might struggle to get back into the side!

It's a wasteland here man! Plenty of chat on the AFL part of the site I think. The silence on the SANFL part is often deafening.
I really think that the inclusion of AFL reserves has hit this site the hardest of all entities involved in SANFL footy. Yes crowds are down, but drop in number of comments on this site would be a larger percentage than the drop in attendances. Sturt threads are very quiet these days, which is the opposite of what you'd expect of a club having its best year since about 2008. If we weren't allowed to make bad puns there'd often be no chatter at all.
