NORTH
North Adelaide coach Josh Carr faces a selection dilemma ahead of Sunday’s clash with West at Prospect Oval.
Star midfielder Jay Shannon has been named on the extended interchange bench after serving his one-match suspension for engaging in rough conduct with South’s Brede Seccull in Round 10.
But whether the past West End State player lines up against the Bloods remains in question such was the impressive 74-point victory against Glenelg at Gliderol Stadium on Monday.
Shannon has been joined in the Roosters’ 23-man squad by wingman Cohen Thiele, who is among five players listed on the pine.
Thiele had 31 disposals, 10 tackles and eight clearances in the Reserves last Monday against the Tigers to help push his claims for a recall.

WEST
West Adelaide wingman Nick Homburg will play his first IGA League match of the year against North at Prospect Oval on Sunday.
Struck down by a nagging ankle injury throughout pre-season, Homburg racked up 40 disposals, 10 marks and eight clearances in the Reserves last round.
The hard-running midfielder has been joined in the Bloods’ 23-man squad by Chris Burgess, Tyson Slattery and possible debutant Jack Evans.
Evans, from Flagstaff Hill, has again been listed on the extended interchange bench and must survive the cut before the bounce.
Goalsneak Shannon Green will be sidelined for three weeks after accepting an early guilty plea for engaging in rough conduct with Central’s Caleb Edmead in Round 10.
Half-back Errin Wasley-black will be unavailable due to a hamstring strain.

Sorry Westies but there is more pain to come. Despite North's inconsistency they are up and running now.
Roosters by 45-50 points

Westies are just one win behind Norths 2015 season.

North in a canter here.

At the Bay last week a number of North and Glenelg supporters were saying the same thing, "West are due to win one soon, just hope it's not against (insert North / Glenelg as applicable)

North should make it 2 in a row for the 1st time in what feels like forever but I'm not counting my chickens (or Roosters) before they hatch

You were wrong by 20 points though ;)

Thank you Channel 7, that's two close losses at home I've missed because you've covered it. :)

I'm not sure anyone at Prospect has used the 'g' word without a negative in front of it since Francou left.

I guess West had to win one eventually. Even a busted clock tells the right time twice a day. ;)
