CENTRAL
In-form Central District star Justin Hoskin will miss Saturday’s game against Adelaide at My Money House Oval due to an ankle injury.
A late addition to the West End State squad, Hoskin damaged the ligaments in his ankle during the warm-up at State training on Tuesday night.
As a result, the former Power rookie has been ruled out for three weeks, meaning he will also miss the State match against the VFL on May 29.
Defender David Haydon will also miss against the Crows after hurting his shoulder but Haydon should be available for Round 10.
Impressive forward Isaya McKenzie returns to the line-up while Jacob Templeton has been named in a back pocket to play his 50th IGA League match.
Full back Murray Stephenson could play his first League match of the year after finally shrugging off a groin ailment which has restricted his start to the season.

ADELAIDE
Adelaide’s midfield will be bolstered by the presence of Brad Crouch for Saturday’s match against Central at My Money House Oval.
Sent back from the Crows’ AFL side, Crouch will be looking to gain some touch against the Bulldogs’ star-studded on-ball brigade.
Crouch has been joined in the 23-man squad by key defender Andy Otten, who has served his suspension for making intentional contact with an umpire in Round 5.
Fellow backman Jake Kelly also returns while development players Dylan Schoenmakers, and Wade Hancock have been listed on the extended interchange bench.
Former Crows captain Nathan van Berlo and midfielder Jarryd Lyons have been called up for AFL duty while Tyson Lindsay has been squeezed out of the line-up.

Crows will struggle. Looks like they will play only 16 AFL listed players.

16 normally means they still win.
We're going to find it tough - we need Hosko.
Although it's great to have Muzza back to steady the defensive ship.

Does the 16 include Wigg? Apparently he will be the travelling emergency.

Dogs to win. The Ravens have lost their spiritual figurehead in Van Berlo, and I'm not sure they have another over-rated ex-AFL captain marking time to replace him.

Made the trip out to Elizabeth for this one. Centrals had the answers all day, including when seriously challenged in the 3rd quarter. Really I felt their win was set up in the first quarter, which they won by 7 points in spite of the fact that Adelaide kicked with the breze, probably worth around 3 goals. We really back to the days of Centralsbeing very hard to beat at Elizabeth.

Back to what days, we haven't been easy to beat at home for a long, long time. Small grounds have been our krypronite generally.

True; I had thought 2014 in particular was bad but looking back, apart from a couple of shockers Centrals still mostly chalked up wins out there.

Hopefully your next team will do better out there, if not why not add a 3rd one

Good win. Adelaide really don't like pressure. Luke Carey was absolutely awful. A real top up captains game from him. Counted 7 Crows supporters and one of them was the ex leader of the Centrals cheersquad. I'm surprised he didn't change into Centrals colours after the game as loyalty is obviously not one of his traits.

Somebody in the crowd got a warning from security for bagging the Crows. Precious bunch they are.

Good to see that counting crows is more than a band from the nineties, it's a fun activity to keep you interested during a practice match!

At 3/4 time in the Reserves Crows went onto ground to have kick and catch I called out "Get off our ground and get out of our League." An official, I think it may even have been the coach responded to me, didn't really hear what it was so I said no AFL in the S.A.N.F.L.

We saw a few Crows supporters over near the scoreboard.
There were six surrounding us, who barely said a word throughout the game.
Further along the eastern wing there were about 10 or so Crows supporters - I know for certain they were family members of players.
So, so quiet.

Apparently the crowd was over 2000 on Saturday. I was a little dubious about that figure, but the northern hill was a bit fuller than I've seen for a while. And...the beer van was back!
