NORWOOD
Norwood coach Ben Warren will roll the dice on star goalsneak Simon Phillips for Friday night’s must-win clash with West at Coopers Stadium.
Phillips, again restricted by a shoulder injury, hasn’t played since Round 1 but Warren has named the triple premiership player at half-forward.
Phillips has been joined in the Redlegs’ 23-man squad by pacy Zac Richards, who has been named on the wing while Peter Bampton is also poised to return.
Matthew Nunn, and Anthony Giannini have also been listed on the extended interchange bench which must be trimmed by two before the bounce.
Star midfielder Jaryd Cachia will miss at least six weeks after a serious ankle injury against South in Round 7 while small forward Josh Donohue won’t be risked after yet another calf strain.
Emerging midfielder Alex Villis will play for the McDonald’s SA Under-18 team in a trial match on Saturday at Football Park.
Key forward Lewis Johnston will play his 50th IGA League match.

I don't understand how a team that won a premiership 8 months ago can now be so pathetic.....

Do the players actually give a stuff anymore???
It would appear not.......

Wonder if it's ever happened, that a team that one a premiership never won a game the next season

Glenelg in 1935 only won one game for the season after winning the flag the previous year. That is the only time that a team has gone from top to bottom in a year.

We should break that record as I can't see us winning a game this season.
