Triple Ken Farmer Medallist Michael Wundke (hamstring) will be given extra time to recover considering the Eagles’ next outing after Saturday will be on June 4 against Norwood.

Power full back Alipate Carlile will make his comeback from a broken wrist while ruckman Jonathan Ross and fellow SANFL contracted players Tom Corcoran and Jack Cooper have also been included.

One umpire pretty cluey. Reports a port player for kicking and then appears to be letting the port player still take his kick.
Fortunately there was another umpire with a bit of nouse and ran in to amend the situation. be interesting to see what rating that umpire gets from the
report on his performance. In view of the umpiring standards in the SANFL this season probably will get A+

Atipate Carlisle looked slow even at this level.
Surely he's finished and doesn't come back into the power side?

Eags looked a lot better in the second half today and if not for poor finishing would have won by 10 goals.
Gafney continues to impress, Goldsworthy's best game for the year as was Hall and Petrenko would have picked up votes again.
The Power reserves, reserves were totally uncompetitive, beaten by 120 points. Is there a point to having them?

This looked funny. The ump running in from center had to tell the ump on the spot that he needs to reverse his decision.
Agreed on umpiring standards. SANFL umps are superior to AFL. More common sense and the don't make themselves the center of the game.

That was a long way away from me all we saw was the umpire running in . It appeared from our spot the umpire was reporting the Eagles player .
He took the Eagles number down raced upto the port player took his number . Which made it look like the Eagles player was reported all the people near me including myself were saying it should be a 25 or 50 if the eagles player was reported .
Then the central umpire ran down stopped play and told him to reverse his decision .
After that I noticed when an umpire at the north face a too high decision both umpires ran in an awarded the free .

There were other issues with decisions like centre bounces one umpire just couldn't bounce i think it took at one time like a minute after bouncing he called the bounce back .

And after watching the entire game first half a lot of port players turned back the hands on f time . Lots of hits on players from the size of redden down some got some reactions not many .
I won't mention the port players number who seemed to do it a lot .
He really didn't like Redden I inderstand he was an Eagle drafted by the power delisted returned to the Eagles nice his rough play didn't get the Eagles off their game

A sly back lash to the groin of an opponent with your foot seems to have been reported as kicking. Study the video or are you blind!!!

Sliding Scale
Port thirds downed by 122
Port seconds downed by 39
Port firsts downed by 2
Disappointing for their fans who will no doubt start disappearing

Gotta say where I was sitting
A some port fans we're saying they wouldn't kick a goal after half time kicking one they seemed surprised
B one loud mouth ( not me lol ) port fan all he did was bad mouth Redden even he shut up part way through the third term .

Then the AFL that's funny I turned off port three goals up then they lost lmao
A traditional team lmao

The umpire over seeing the Dougal Howard report was so far out of his depth. He was about to let Howard take the kick, despite having reported him moments earlier, if not for the experienced umpire it would have been farcical.

Howard offered a one match ban, a $200 fine and reprimand for an early guilty plea.

Me, I say give them the $200 and get away before they change their minds!

As I wrote we were waiting for a 25 metre or 50 if the Eagles player was reported
