I'm not arguing I know from talking to fans who were members they refuse to attend games with the afl teams .
I also know lets say my exemployer was talking up working 7 days a week only getting a Saturday or Sunday off once a month .
Surely employment might have an issue with people not attending

2016- 2314
....
2012- 2880
2011- 3236
2010- 3073
2009- 2924

So close to a 30% drop in 5 years, and 21% since 2009.

Source is the 2013 SANFL Annual Report. Interesting that i didn't notice any attendance data in the 2015 report, unlike the previous editions.

What was 2013? 3,400 seems to stick in my mind

Na, 2013 was really poor, 2620. Very wet winter (I recall that around half of the Noarlunga games were impacted by rain) and the general discontent over the afl issue were probable factors.

Could this be the lowest ever recorded double header crowd in SANFL history.

Low attracting South and Crows combined with Centrals going up against two amature league grand finals on Royal show weekend with rain predicted

Could be a decent crowd on Saturday. Yes South have a small supporter base but with no AFL on this weekend some people might come along to see a couple of games.

Dropping the price to $15 is also a great idea and could encourage more to get along.

Dropping the price of a beer to under $38 a pint wouldn't hurt either. Neither would getting the Westies mob there cooking steak sambos.

With the beer prices as they are I'll have to resort to "I'll have a half".
