R6: North v Glenelg - Sunday 1 May @ Prospect Oval

NORTH
Former Woodville-West Torrens midfielder Tom Schwarz will play his first League match for North Adelaide against Glenelg at Prospect Oval on Sunday.
Schwarz, one of the Eagles’ best players in last year’s finals series, crossed over to the Roosters earlier this month.
The tackling machine (185cm and 80kg) played in North’s Reserves team before last week’s bye, leaving him primed to play under Josh Carr’s tutelage against the Tigers.
Vice-captain Marlon Motlop has recovered from a dislocated shoulder suffered in Round 1 while left-footers Nick Amato and Cohen Thiele have also been added to the 23-man squad.
Michael McMahon and Luke Teasdale are the only certain exclusions with two more players to be trimmed before the bounce.

GLENELG
Former Sturt forward Ziggy Vitkunas could play his first IGA League match for Glenelg against North at Prospect Oval on Sunday.
Vitkunas, who kicked 77 goals for Mount Compass in the Great Southern Football League last year, played 11 League matches for the Double Blues between 2011 and 2014.
The 25-year-old – who measures in at 189cm and 90kg – has been named in a forward pocket to effectively replace suspended Tiger Timmy Sumner.
Sumner received a three-match suspension from the SANFL Tribunal for striking Adelaide’s Andy Otten in Round 5.
Utilities Max Proud and Chris Curran were also unable to be considered after straining their hamstrings against Adelaide last Sunday.
Talls Jed Redden and Aisea Raikiwasa have been added to the 23-man squad as cover for the above duo while nippy rover Jack Kenny could make his IGA League debut.
Eastern Ranges product Kenny, 22, measures in at just 164cm and 65kg and was named as the best player at last year’s SA Country Championships held in Port Augusta.
Wingman Riley McFarlane has also been added to the extended interchange bench.
