NORWOOD
Norwood midfielder Mat Suckling will miss Friday night’s blockbuster against Glenelg with hamstring tightness.
Suckling’s return is unknown at this stage as he will undergo further examination from club medicos in the next 48 hours.
Speedy wingman Anthony Wilson returns from his hamstring strain for the 7.40pm bounce at Coopers Stadium while Ed Smart, Matthew Nunn and Alex Forster are all a chance to play their first IGA League match of the year.
Solid midfielder Peter Bampton is the only certain exclusion as he has been sent back to the Reserves.

Really looking forward to this one. Glenelg looks real good on paper (not that it's mattered much for them in the past). Would think Vitkunas and Merrett will be the ones to miss out. Norwood's at just about full strength minus Phillips and Suckling. Forster always seems to be the unlucky one to get culled first, maybe Bartlett the other?

Good weather tomorrow, should be a good game. Can't see why there won't be 6,000+ there.

Geez this couldn't come quick enough, i hate the bye early in the season.

Norwood need a win to gain some all important confidence.

Bring on the Coopers and the footy!

Looking forward to this one; as mentioned we look good on paper, but am used to going to Norwood with little expectation. Heart of course says Glenelg; head, Norwood in a pretty close one.

Should be a good contest. Hopefully 5K turn up. Legs by a goal.

Great to see some Friday night footy, the past few weeks have been wasted opportunities.

Glenelg players need to start learning to be second to the footy, wait until the opposition go in & get it, then have two or three players jump on them without prior opportunity & get a free for holding the ball.

Ruining the game. The game has always been about rewarding the bloke who went and got the footy.. AFL are now changing that it is filtering down to SANFL which in the last few years has been better than watching AFL mickey mouse footy
