EAGLES
Eagles forward Michael Wundke must pass a fitness test on Saturday if he’s to confront North at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Sunday.
The triple Ken Farmer Medallist, recovering from a groin strain in Round 2, has been named on the extended interchange bench after getting through a practice session on Wednesday night.
Wundke has been joined in the Eagles’ 23-man squad by midfielder Matt Appleton, who had the week off last Round as the club’s Reserves had the bye.
Co-captain Luke Thompson will play his 100th SANFL IGA League match after making his debut in Round 1, 2010.

Measuring in at 178cm and 74kg, he is the brother of Jake Lloyd at the Sydney Swans and also won the Best and Fairest Medal last year for the Wimmera Football League.

If North can avoid the 10 goal second quarter fade out from last week, they'll give the Eagles a run for their money.

I hope Wundke plays
Also hope Ainger crashes into marking packs like against Adelaide.
This leads to feeding smalls like Yarran might actually work well against a traditional SANFL team

Eagles win I hope

In the last 12 months pretty much everything has worked well against my traditional SANFL team. ;)

Might be right but my traditional club falls short of winning a flag
So it's not all roses

Winning a flag? Count yourself lucky you've jagged a couple in the last decade. Our last flag was all roses, so to speak, since "Use Your Illusion" came out in September that year. ;)

With my injury to the brain I honestly can't recall the grand final
All I remember is a movie from Feb March 2015
As much as I hate the memories gone I don't mind forgetting the flag loss

The Eagles are traditionally strong Mickyj, so you'll have plenty of chances to see future success. Keep your chin up mate.

Have not been able to get out to a Roosters game so far this season. How is McKenzie settling in? Is Thiele out injured?

McKenzie's been a very good addition IMHO, seems to find the footy, moves well and good skills. Played particularly well against Norwood. Thiele's in the magoos on the injury comeback trail, not sure how he went last week though.

McKenzie had 30 disposals and was given best player by the club last week against Port. He has been very good in all three games. So far he has been an excellent recruit.

Another tough game, but I don't feel so resigned to defeat this year. Apart from the 2nd qtr North did ok last week and I think they will go one better this week a get their 2nd win. Roosters by 10-15
