Named on a half-back flank, van Berlo has been joined in the 23-man squad by Jarryd Lyons and Victorian draftee Tom Doedee, who will play his first IGA League match.
Key defender Kyle Hartigan has been called up to the club’s AFL side.
For the first time in his tenure, Adelaide coach Heath Younie may have just one development player – captain Luke Carey – take to the field.

Chad Cornes to praise the Mannum fans for nice barracking and clapping good play by both teams and request all games to be played at neutral venues.

Yes, right on.

If there's ever going to be a game where Cornes isn't given a spray from opposition fans, it'll be this one.

I still think Power reserves and Crows reserves should just play each other every week around the state.

Leave the SANFL as an 8-team competition in which each team plays the others 3 times.

Perfect.

Seriously, that is a good idea. Then they could be called Port Adelaide Reserves and Adelaide Reserves instead of Port Adelaide's / Adelaide's SANFL side

Crows should win this one easily over an undermanned Port. 8-10 goals.

I love the term "undermanned". 13 AFL listed players + some good SANFL players.

I think its in context of being undermanned in terms of Adelaide will field 20 AFL listed players. Which if this is constant throughout the season they will be very hard to beat all year.

I think you'll find it under the 'practice match' section.

How bad is John Butcher? Two horrendously bad kicks already only half way through the first quarter. Port can't even hide him in the backlines now.

How is this guy still on an AFL list?

I've already seen Hugh Greenwood running around out there.

He is just taking up someone else's spot . Poor list management , no wonder they are going backwards.

We're not looking too flash here mate! ;)

Butcher's been looking like an AFL forward since Qtr time and Mitchell's getting more possessions than he knows what to do with.
