The Panthers have made four changes to the side that took down Glenelg by nine points on Good Friday, with experienced midfielder Xavier Gotch returning to the team after overcoming a calf complaint that held him out of the season opener.

Meanwhile, Scott Taylor and Alex Moyle have been rewarded for their strong showings for the reserves and have been named on an extended bench for Sunday.

Young gun Ben Heaslip will make his way back to the reserves, while Joseph Haines (back) and Josh Trembath (Glenelg) are set to make their first competitive appearance of the season proper in the reserves.

Tarak Redigolo will play his 100th game for South Adelaide when he runs out against the Eagles, while Matt Rankine will notch SANFL game number 50.

League - 2:10pm
F: Overall, Haren, Barnes
HF: Hitchcock, Eddy, Cross
C: Irra, Seccull, Fields

FB: Rankine, Crabb, Daniel

I think these two will be right up there at the end of the year . Without seeing the Eagles team I say South by 111 points.

If the BBQ Pies at Noarlunga are as good as the Easter Eggs the Unley crowd claimed he was eating on Monday I think we load him up..he might kick 10!

Should be a good game.

Last week the Sturt crowd near me was yelling out he was eating pies they shut up before he kicked his sixth goal
Kick six or more goals I'd buy him a pie
Hell I'd buy him a six pack if he kicked 6 or more a game

Well done Redigolo for clocking up his ton
With the reduced games in a season now and the average number of games missed through injury, a player will have to clock up around 6 years with the same club to reach 100 games.

The Vili's pies on sale at Hickinbotham are excellent (shameless plug for a club sponsor).
Must have been some serious coin to drag him away from Noarlunga.........

:) :) Wundke eating the pies and .....and a team mate smashing the plates...

Goal Kickers: S. Overall 3, N. Liddle 2, C. Hitchcock 2, B. Eddy 2, N. Daniel, E. Irra, M. Rankine, B. Haren, A. Gulden
Best Players: N. Liddle, M. Rankine, B. Haren, T. Fields, B. Seccull, A. Gulden

Very good win after a slow start, kicking 13 of the final 16 goals. Eagles got a fast start with some help from the men in green, but South clawed their way back into the game late in the first and never looked back. Surprised Crabb wasn't named in the best. LIddle the standout, one of Haren's better games for the club, didn't have too many passengers.

First time I've seen the new OOB rule. I recall reading an article from the SANFL when the rule was implemented saying the average from the games they surveyed in 2015 was no more than 3 or 4 instances, which seemed low. The Eagles would have given South close to 10 freebies today by playing a very indirect brand of footy.

Eagles took an eternity to leave the oval after huddling on the outer wing. Any specific reason?

Promising signs. A long way to go.

South's relentless pressure forced the Eagles backwards and sideways so often and when they did go direct poor skills and decision making lead to a lot of those OOB's free kicks

Was great to be able to see Tarek lead them off the ground in his 100th game.

Pretty vocal under the stratco today
