SANFL Club boards

Seems to be a lot of discussion surrounding the future of the SANFL competition. Most on here believe because of the AFL reserves in our league then that means it will die. I am anti the AFL reserves but will not stop following the competition. I think their are more pressing and conceptual issues than just that.
Which leads me to the question. Each club has a constitution regarding who boards and who will lead a club. Who is going to arrange enough numbers to overthrow their board to gain a greater voice for their club ?

It's not an easy task, at least from my clubs point of view. IIRC you need 75% of the current membership to vote in favour of holding an EGM. From what I saw at the North's AGM a few weeks back the majority are in the retirement age bracket who appear to be those who favour the current president and are responsible for his extended reign. I think we'd struggle to find 75% of members who give a shit, to be honest.
At any rate Bohdan's time is up next year, and hopefully he bows out (unlikey) or is voted out so we can add Bradley Ryan (who just missed out on a board spot this year) to Malcolm Ellis and Simon Trenorden who were recently appointed as part of a need for change at board level.

Can't speak for other clubs, but ours has constantly played the game in the last 10-12 years to make it pretty hard for the average supporter-member to have any say in the make-up of board personnel.
