Panthers Welcome Grand Nissan as Major Partner!
South Adelaide Football Club is delighted to welcome Grand Nissan as a joint major partner under a two-year deal, connecting one of the Southern suburbs’ most successful businesses and prominent sporting organisations.
The partnership will see Grand Nissan’s brand appear on the back of South Adelaide’s home and away guernseys for at least the next two seasons.
CEO of the Panthers, Wayne Peters said the club was excited to partner with a locally-based business and strengthen community ties for both organisations.
“Grand Nissan is an established local business with a long history of dedicated service to the Southern community,” said Mr Peters
“We are extremely pleased that Grand Nissan has chosen to partner with our Club.
“Together with the exciting progress of our junior and senior football programs, we look forward to working closely with Grand Nissan to expand our community initiatives.”
Grand Nissan Dealership Manager, Vince Petraccaro revealed Grand Nissan, who are based at Morphett Vale, are excited to be pairing with such a prominent organisation of the Southern region.
“We chose to partner with South Adelaide Football Club first of all because it’s local,” explained Mr Petraccaro.
“The Panthers are the biggest sporting organisation in the South and we are confident our partnership will help to grow the Grand Nissan brand.”
For Mr Petraccaro it was also important for Grand Nissan to align themselves with a club who share values similar to their own “Family Owned. Family Driven.” motto.
“We are excited to partner with an organisation whose vision is very similar to our own and we strongly believe this new partnership will be beneficial to both businesses,” said Mr Petraccaro.
Mr Peters agreed Grand Nissan’s community oriented principles aligned well with South Adelaide’s brand values of “Visionary – Can-Do – United for Club and Community”.
“The synergy between our organisations will be a vital component of our future success,” said Mr Peters.

Well done Panthers, always good to see local support getting financially behind our SANFL clubs.

Plus long time major sponsor Angus Securities to remain a Silver Sponsor. It has taken some time to have the local business sponsorship support "down south" but it's starting to happen together with greater community membership and involvement is not only great news for SAFC but also the SANFL. Much of this can attributed to junior development programs being put in place in recent years by the club under the guidance of Tony Bamford and a great working relationship with another great sponsor Flinders Uni. It's all good news down South

Well done South .. These days more than ever before, we need the traditional clubs as well supported (both financially and with bums on seats) as they can be.

Well done South and Grand Nissan. The club is still a very untapped market in my opinion.

How long ago did Southgate holden sponsor them? Obviously not anymore....

Reckon they have been winding back their support over the past few years....They used to be on the jumpers?

Resourseco announced as a major sponsor whose company logo will appear on the front of the jumper. Great work by all the club as sponsorship is vital and is hard to not only attract but also retain, the Panthers have excelled in this during the off-season.

Bums on car seats is a novel idea that has served us well

Really??? - has "Carlunga" ever had more home support than the visitors. Not ever seen that from my own personal experience.

Maybe it's a case of "if they build it, people will come" ?

Hope so for their sake and the longevity of the competition.

Doing a lot of things right down South, from the way my daughter describes the place I'm very glad she got a gig at South and not my club which basically does everything wrong.
