Is there a prerequisite that you have to be a knob jockey to get a gig coaching an AFL reserves side in this state?
3/3 so far.

If Chad is wanting to go further with his coaching career this is a good move. Gets to coach his own* team while also being involved in the AFL system so he can learn what it takes and gain experience of what its like to coach at the highest level.

*almost his own team but you get what I mean.

Does work in the strength and conditioning field as well, I'm sure getting to work with Burgess would be a part of his desire to come home.

3 years working under Sheedy and then Cameron developing the Giants list as back line coach, pretty good grounding IMO. Had a great mentor in Sheedy for a while and then Cameron.

I'm very excited by Chad coming back to Alberton. A good choice by the club, someone with a good knowledge and understanding of the SANFL, has spent time developing players, and has worked under Williams and Sheedy.

Good appointment. He would have gained a wealth of knowledge in Sydney.

LMAO, admitted tonight on AA he had no clue about the SANFL.

This appointment hasn't got anything to do with the SANFL anyway.

As in the current players, style and standard as he's been interstate for a few years yeah. He's grown up with the competition and knows the importance of the comp.

If he understands the SANFL so well then why has he traded his families history in just to align with an AFL reserves side?, that's a stupid comment. What you mean is "he has the same level of contempt for the competition as most that are aligned with AFL clubs, it's basically a convenient stepping stone to be used to further my own desires"

Does that mean the prestigious Chad medal will make a return?

Having grown up watching his father play in it, having played in it himself, having had his brother play in it, yeah, I'd say he's across the SANFL and how important it is to football in South Australia. Now you've a better understanding, it might not be as funny for you? :D
