What is your point ? Looks like you are referring to two games over two years ?
I'm no fan of the AFL reserves but a lot are drawing a long bow on things and using it as a vehicle to justify losing etc

Umm, so the team/club you couldn't beat on Prelim final day last year but they did on 1st Semi Final Day (coming from 5th) this year makes you sick how??

What WCP is posting is that his team South were eliminated by an AFL reserves club last season
The same team South Adelaide voted NO against joining the SANFL

Had Port Reserves eliminated Centrals last week , Im sure there would be some Centrals posters feeling like WCP is
Same applies to West Adelaide the week before

Imagine this Ambays
Glenelg have a goods season in 2016
They meet Port Reserves in a Prelim Final, and are eliminated
How would you feel about that ?

Yeah mate, eco your thoughts. Any danger of talking about the cracking game ahead

I reckon Centrals by 2 goals here. Playing excellent football at the moment.

Sport is great

You perform on the day or else you wear the consequences. Only thing that counts is results not excuses.

The two best structured and communicative/demanding of themselves sides to play off in next weeks GF

Dogs and Eagles

Some big calls to make, from both clubs, from the selection point of view...

Injury clouds and risks of players coming back in underdone to be heavily discussed...

Look forward to seeing the selected teams come out later today...

WEST
West Adelaide has been dealt a further blow with key defender Adam Hartlett ruled out of Sunday’s Preliminary Final against Central with a thigh injury.
A member of the Bloods’ leadership group, Hartlett hurt his quad during the first term of the Second Semi Final but continued to play in pain.
‘’He’s been fantastic for us particularly with his on-field discipline this year,’’ West football manager Andrew Marks said.
‘’He’s been displaying great leadership so he will certainly be missed.’’
The former Carlton player has been joined on the Bloods’ omission list with defender Logan Hill and classy forward Aaron Fielke, who have both been sidelined with concussion.
Ex-Glenelg utility Riley Milne looms as the direct replacement for Hartlett after being named at centre half-back.
‘’Riley can play tall or small and he can rebound off his opponent to provide some important drive for us,’’ Marks said.
Star midfielder Taite Silverlock is edging closer to a return from a hamstring strain suffered against Port in the Qualifying Final.
‘’As the week has gone by he’s getting closer to playing,’’ Marks said of Silverlock.
‘’But he’s got to train with the main group on Friday night first as he hasn’t managed that yet.’’
Should Silverlock not recover it could open the door for strong-bodied midfielder Jadyn Brind to make his League debut.
A member of the McDonald’s SA Under-18 team this year, Brind – from Roxby Downs – measures in at 180cm and 92kg.
His fellow State team-mate, Jack Agostino, looks certain to replace Hill in the back pocket while key position player Ben Klemke has been included on the extended interchange bench.

F: Haysman, Webb, Anderson
HF: Green, Tuck, Beech
C: Homburg, Stevens, Schiller
HB: Caire, Milne, Wasley-Black
B: Agostino, Keough, Helbig

R: Willits, Schmidt, Snelling
INT: Silverlock, Klemke, Middleton, Brind, Porplyzia
IN: Milne, Silverlock, Brind, Klemke, Agostino
OUT: Hill (concussion), Fielke (concussion), Hartlett (quad)

Wouldn't think Silverlock is a certain starter either

Hartlett holds their back half together. Without him they'll be nowhere near as strong.

He killed Port, Harvey and Shaw let him do as he pleased, plus he did as he pleased as he saw them as no threat.

Last week he has Wundke and Ainger to worry about, both can be very damaging, Ainger 4, Wundke 2, Hartlett ( playing injured, mind you ) has no impact.

Can be cruel game at times with the timing of our injuries. We've been better than Centrals all year and I wasn't that impressed with their last quarter last week, thought our game was a better standard easily. Bloods have shared the load well his year and rate our depth. Win this week and get a few players back for the GF.

The SANFL will be hoping - no chance of 20K+ if West win :(
