The SANFL would like to congratulate Central District’s Chris Jansen for winning the 2015 Powerade Star Search Award.
A revelation in the midfield this year, Jansen was nominated for the Powerade Star Search Award after his eye-catching performance against Sturt in Round 7.
In winning the Powerade Star Search Award, the 20-year-old receives a cheque for $2,000 courtesy of Coca-Cola.
Jansen is the fifth Bulldog to win the Award in succession, following Jarrod Schiller (2011), Paul Marschall (2012), Josh Glenn (2013) and Travis Schiller (2014).
Introduced in 2007, the Powerade Star Search Award recognises the SANFL’s most outstanding emerging talent, with one player nominated each round throughout the home-and-away season.
