Much better signs for North last week. A more settled look about them helps.

I challenge the two coaches to let Obst and Alleway play one on one for the game.

North by 10 points.

No injuries to North last week and a much improved performance.
If they had kicked straight against Centrals they would have clicked up their first win of the season against true SANFL opposition.
North by 1-5 points

Glenelg by 1-39.

Jake Johansen and Alleway to kick a half dozen between them and be the difference.

13 goal second half to the Bays  Well done to Lokes and the boys on a great win.

20 scoring shots to 6 in the second half in those conditions is worthy of "a paddlin!".... I believe you have a spoon you can use for this. :D

When Aller's wins the Farmer Medal this year, I hope they make McGregor and Jaworskyj present it to him, telling him he couldn't be fitted in the North squad before the 2014 season would have to go down as one of the worst selection decisions this century.

Good win for Glenelg. North certainly took some shaking off but was good to see the boys really able to put a team away. Week off next week, looking forward to a Friday night game in a couple of weeks.

It's been a great pick up for Glenelg. Has been good on and off the field.

He was really good last week for the Tiggers although North do seem to have a few key forwards in their squad..... can you ever have enough?

Who killed Kenny?

Yesterday North went into the game with only 1 key forward Shillabeer.
He has played 10 games this year for 15 goals.

After a scrappy first half we really asserted some authority in the second. It was great to see us move the ball through the centre without looking sideways too often. We were able to outmuscle the Roosters around the packs and move the ball quicker than in recent weeks.

An enjoyable day on and off the field.

Bays looked much better than us, much better than Central the week before too, appear well coached with the players all willing to play their roles, definately on the improve. Also beat our ressies comfortably who have been pretty good this year, Bays on the way up.
Umpires cost the Bays a few goals too unlike the week before when we got a rough deal to the Dogs, Alleyway clicked a clear goal that went through by over a metre at the southern end but our mate the goal umpire gave it a point as he heard the North defender slap the post, Allers wasn't happy and we had a good chuckle.
Bays supporters at the southern bar where even bearable too!

Everyone I know involved down the Bay says the same, he's not only a good footballer, he's a great bloke and very willing to help out the younger players, IMHO, if he's interested, a future SANFL senior coach in waiting
