That's the lowest score against South at Noarlunga (the three lower are all by South); previous record was by North, 4.8 in Rd 20 1998

Also believe that may be Norths lowest score ever against South, previous being 2.15

I have a score from Round 1 1898 by North at 2.8 (20) vs South 6.14 (50)

Goal Kickers: E. Irra 3, J. Cross 3, A. Gulden 2, B. Macleod 2, M. Rankine , N. Liddle , B. Eddy
Best Players: , J. Cross , J. Veide , E. Irra , N. Daniel , N. Liddle , M. Rankine

A case of all played well and a handy % and confidence booster against an ordinary side. North kicked a goal after about 3 minutes and could muster just one more major in the second term. The usual suspects in the mid-field got plenty of it, the backline was miserly all day, while Irra and Rankine were good in the forward half.

Motlop with 39 touches for North.

Only 1198 attended a very cold and windy Noarlunga.

South won the ressies by 5 goals.

You would more than likely be on the money Spelly, thinking now i do remember being at the game in 1898

Since I love a good old fashion stat-off, Motlop's 39 disposals is the highest in the league this year.

Qtr by Qtr: 5, 12, 8, 14 = 39
Contested: 0, 4, 1, 2 = 7

This is also the third game in a row North haven't scored a goal in two quarters of a match, and the fourth successive game they haven't scored a goal in at least one quarter.

The 2-15 score line was in 1909, the radio would have reported that as "official" league stat's don't start to 1907 (correct me if I'm wrong), Spelly's stat's are far more comprehensive and include the league back to when it was formed

It's good work by South, but it isn't 1.8 14

1.8 > 1.6
119> all of them

Both the old Port club and the new one can out North North.
