NORTH
North Adelaide’s selection merry-go-round has continued ahead of Saturday’s match against West at Prospect Oval.
Ravaged by injury, interim Roosters coach Michael Handby was forced to replace captain Greg Gallman (hamstring), Michael McMahon (hamstring), Liam Jacka (shoulder) and Leigh Rsywyk, who injured his hip at training on Wednesday night.
Former skipper Todd Miles accepted a two-match ban for engaging in rough conduct with Central’s Luke Barmby last Saturday while Michael Virgin was sent back to the Reserves.
Previous SA Under-16 captain Jack Graham (17, 180cm and 77kg) will make his league debut after being named at half-back.
‘’Jack has a high work rate,’’ North football manager said of Graham, originally from Tea Tree Gully Football Club.
‘’He really hunts the ball and is a good size for his age. He’s very competitive.’’
Patrick Boles, Corey Grove, Alan Obst, Jesse O’Brien, Toby Schulz, Luke Teasdale and star utility George Thring have all been added to the 23-man squad.

North continue to break records, any other team outscored another team by 39-0 in a quarter and lose by 76? :P

North's effort still not close to acceptable but.....................

Today was a big improvement on last week, West are a far better outfit than Central. Last week the Dogs made mistakes and North were still smashed, this week West were a very well drilled side that came to play.
I thought we'd go down by over 20 goals today, it was 7 goals better than that.
Even in the the 1st 1/2 when North only kicked 1 goal, there was more desire shown in those 2 quarters than at any stage last week, today they showed signs that Handby might just be starting to "Un-Ken" them.

To understand how this could be a improvement on last week, unless you were at Elizabeth last week you probably never will.

Well after this big improvement that North brought to the table this week should the club look at giving Handby an extension in his contract so he isnt poached by a rival club?

First time I'd seen Westies in a long time, well done to Mickan and Co on having West playing a much more attractive brand of footy than the crap they played under Collins.
