Eagles gave up last week .......

Norwood will be finishing pre season soon and will be looking for a solid hitout.

My tip: See if you think the Eagles socks look purple when pulled up?

Wouldn't mind beating these blokes for a change. Our record against them is ordinary to say the least.

NORWOOD
Norwood has regained premiership pair Tim Webber and Ed Smart from injury for the contest against the Eagles at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Sunday.
Webber, named in the centre square, has overcome a minor ankle ailment which kept him from playing against Central District last Saturday.
Smart, listed on the extended interchange bench, has recovered from a hamstring strain to be included in the Redlegs’ 23-man squad.
Norwood coach Ben Warren faces a difficult decision in cutting two players from his line-up before the bounce, considering his side already boasts a 2-0 win-loss record.
Small forward Simon Phillips could resume in the Reserves, from a shoulder injury, next weekend.

Not sure why Ainger would be named on the bench, I have got the game time right I think?

Close one. Norwood by a goal.

If last week is anything to go by, the Legs should win by 10 goals. But footy isn't like that so WWTFC to it out of the hat and win by Less than 10 points

Looking forward to getting there early and having a look at Partington.

Go the Legs and bring on Sunday!

When Baulderstone is resting does he sit it out on the bench or move to a forward pocket?

Caught some of this on the radio. Any promising Salisbury West juniors on show in the mini-league at half time?

Wasn't at the game and didn't hear it on the radio.

Looking at the stats for both teams however, it seems that both teams' tall defenders were able to negate the other teams' tall forwards. However the damage was done by the eagles' small midfielders which is pleasing because in recent years they have failed to impact the scoreboard and left the scoring to Wundke/Ainger/Grocke.

By all accounts, Hall, Martyn and Schwarz had decent games. I'm still not convinced that these guys are the types we need to take us deep into the finals but certainly their confidence will be helped by their performances today.

Looking forward to having Thurlow resume when he comes back from injury as another weak spot for us appeared to be in the ruck with Baulderstone dominating hit outs.

All up however, a very, very good team effort by the eagles. Even more pleasing was that we finally put in a four quarter effort with no fadeout!!!!!

Wundke and Ainger used differently today, Martyn and Schwarz were excellent.

You would have been if you were there .
Norwoods skill level and attack on the ball however wasn't great .
Newton I think it was in the goal square for a point is one glaring example .
