An additional 2mil for each club from 2016 to 2022. Thats how it read right?

Thats all well and good and starting in 2016 of october with a first of payment of $125k is not going to help many clubs at this moment when they are doing it tough.

Also thats $16 mill all up. Exaclty where has the revenue form AO and also the $71Mil ended up? I know 10mil went to pay of the debt with the AFL but I have a few questions still.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

$125k should be a good starting point for clubs, and it's important they don't rely on just this income to get or keep them in the Black. The committment of more to follow should help with re-financing if and where required too.

The clubs would have to be ecstatic with this news. For those who trade perilously close to the line it must give hope that a helping hand is available whilst a sound business model and revenue stream is developed. If after all of this, a club still struggles to make ends meet, the question really has to be asked if it is viable for them to continue, and then hard decisions will need to be made.
Reading betwen the lines previously, I was bracing myself for the clubs not to receive anything from the sell off so am very pleasantly surprised.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

I guess if the money is used to reduce debt then it's a good thing. Reduced debt = reduced interest payments = more profit. But if the money is used just to prop up the cash flow then the underlying problems will still be there when the handout has dried up and clubs in financial trouble now will still be in financial trouble then.

This is great news for the clubs. Well done to the SANFL on delivering on what was promised regarding support for the clubs at the semi-pro level.
