Hey SANFL Fans,

Good news on the SANFL Broadcasting front for season 2015...

As we all know, Channel 7 will continue broadcasting once a week this year in what is their 2nd season of the 3 year deal...

I have recently had it confirmed by both the League and Station Management that 1197am RPH Adelaide will be broadcasting the SANFL this season...

Further from that, also good news for those fans of the Thursday Night SANFL Show with Grant Coffee and myself (with John Nankivell filling in from time to time, as well) getting the all-clear from RPH to continue on once again in 2015...

The first TNLT Show, as a part of a Pre-Season block, will hit the airwaves in less than one month, from 8:00 - 9:00pm, on Thursday March 5th...

Stay tune to the thread below for more details on the format, content and guests, etc etc...

One would assume that LifeFM will continue on with SANFL coverage again, but haven't heard anything certain, as yet. Will let you know more on this when it is confirmed...

Finally, as mentioned and discussed in various other threads, it looks like the Live Streaming of SANFL games will continue in season 2015 through the League, with more information to come in due course...

Cheers,

BP

Will the SANFL have the In Ground only Broadcast they did a few times late last year when more than 3 games were on at the same time?

Is the 5AA sunday night show going ahead again this year? Tuned in around 7pm the last two sundays and it hasn't been on.

I'm thinking not. I didn't expect it to air last weekend due to the Power having a late game in Perth which did not finish until nearly 9. But if it was going ahead no reason for it not to have been on this week, so suspect it may be gone. Happy to be corrected!

I have been involved with the FIVEaa show for the last 7 years & have not been told anything.

FIVEaa went straight from AFL to normal Sunday Night programming tonight so I suspect it is no longer on.

Disappointing. Tuned in most weeks and enjoyed the show.

From a league point of view it was a rare opportunity for some decent exposure on mainstream radio. I thought the AFC’s presence in the league was supposed to support/enhance these opportunities, especially on such an AFL-centric station like 5AA.

Demands just not there after the AFL teams entered.

ON a similar note, who did the commentary at the North v Adelaide game?
Watched the highlights on youtube and one guy didn't know any North players names and was generally awfull stuttering and sounding awful.

And how could the SANFLs publicity machine leave the winning goal off the highlights which involved Motlop kicking out from full back and following up play and eventually kicking the winning goal!

Cameraman left early to go home to watch the crows?

Also, left off a game changing goal in the last quarter by Shillabeer. The one hand pick up, dodge, goal outside 50 kicking around his body.

The Ch 7 highlights of SANFL games is far behind what the ABC use to put out. The Ch 7 coverage has been disappointing

Wasn't C7 highlights we were complaining about, I've found Channel 7s game day coverage excellent and much better than the ABC.
