North need to win to keep their finals hopes alive as do the Dogs so this should be a ripper contest...

If they don't play finals, probably the two best teams to miss finals in a long time.

A draw.

Shows how close the competition has become with only the Bays really falling behind.
Maybe it has something to do with not having AFL players dropping in and out of the squad each week.
Not saying skill levels have improved, if anything they've gone down but at least for the 8 clubs it is fairer.

I think Centrals form will see them over the line. North have the ability, just not the consistency.
Hope Shillabeer gets another gig. Could be one to build a forward line around next year,

Centrals will make the Finals if they win and the Eagles lose to West or if it beats North by four goals more than Eagles beat West by.

North will make the Finals if they win and the Eagles lose.

North get a couple back from suspension, but will have a couple of big name outs that wont help them...

Anderson and Clinch can return from suspension...

Hearing that Gallman, Dalwood, Ryswyk and G.Thring will all miss due to various injuries...

Obst out as well, so the depth will be tested at Rooster land...

The Dogs will lose Ben Mabon to a hip injury and may look to bring in the underdone Cameron Milne, who has missed a bit of footy this year...

I've not been keeping up with the reality tv shenanigans, but does his availability indicate anything about the result of the show?

Right, he's on the Fox show, forgot about that.

No Fox and a healthy desire to avoid anything "reality" would be good reason for that.

I recall big things were expected from him at the Ponderosa, I wonder how his TV career was seen by the club. Any insight into that Phil? ( Come on, I know you do.... )

Isn't the 'Johann' on the comeback from injury? Hurt his knee in the league team a few weeks ago.....

Filming finished months ago, he's been out with a knee injury sustained in his first game back with the Dogs.

The winner is still unknown, one more show to be filmed I think..

Much the same. Who would have thought Sylvania Waters was a watershed moment.

Club has not really been quiet on the Wagner. He was approached before the Fox thing, Roy convinced him to go the traditional route, Voss convinced him to go with reality tv. Roy not impressed, but make the best out of it. The lad has genuine talent with a good grab, pace and finds the footy. Not sure about his kicking on the run though. Would be nice to have him should we be able to get past North and the Eagles.

He is a likeable guy and I wish him the best. Hope he is not consigned to the reality tv scrap heap.

Can North end the Dogs' season for the 3rd year in a row?

Congrats to the cocks. North too good and ran away with it in the third quarter. Bit of a choke from Centrals and some dropped heads, with our in form guys having a dog of a day. Leaving muzza on schillabeer showed either fortitude or blind stubbornness.

On the plus side I would have thought 40% of the crowd was Centrals, and really did support the team till the end. A disappointing turn out from North Adelaide considering they had a chance. A case of having too much of a good thing, close inner city location, rich supporters, plenty of cash chucked at them from the Adelaide club, but little support unless they are a sure thing. Playing the cock a doodle doo when your 7 goals up smacks of singing when your winning.

Hopefully not too many retirements from our side, although I do have a concern with a couple of our big names. Hope they can see the light and Roy sticks around. For a club that had the courage to stick by its principles and is a shining light for the community, it certainly has more merit and creed than most in this competition; you know those who abandoned all principle and stuck their snouts in the trough. 6 clubs need to hang their collectives in shame and watch their cup taken away by a reserves team.

I'm counting it. ;)

Thus ends a poor season from North. Bring on the cricket season!
