Updated. So the teams ranked 1, 2 and 3 lose on the weekend, leaving next week's Eagles v South and Sturt v North with massive implications on double chance places. A thoroughly interesting last three weeks of the season coming up.

Eagles away from the double chance & deservedly so. No men in white to back them up today & they show how good they really are!

Been in Qld for a decade and haven't watched much SANFL in that time. Are the Eagles really getting an armchair ride from the umps or is this one eyed barracking? It seems to come mainly from my fellow Legs' supporters as well.

Maybe it's because when we get the frees, it's because we are trying to get the ball and the opp. are behind us. Most of the time the frees are in our back lines.

It can't have happened often that, in the same round:
• the top team lost but other results meant that they practically sewed up the minor premiership, and
• the bottom team won but other results meant that they practically sewed up the wooden spoon.

I know what you mean - I've been in Townsville for 5 weeks and am suffering footy withdrawal - even AFL is scarce.
