Round 7 - Eagles v North @ M.Thiem Hyundai Oval (Sat 17/5)

With a strong win against the Tigers at this same venue last week, the Eagles will be flying with confidence at the moment and will be keen to maintain their form with this clash against North. The Roosters let the game slip against the Doggies, due mainly to skill error and undisciplined actions...
You'd expect the Eagles to win this, but it could be a closer contest than some may suggest?

We should get flogged.
So we'll probably win.

If North don't put Miles back to centre half back, Ainger and Wundke will kick 8 goals each given the current form of North's other big defenders. With Miles in defence only one of the key forwards will kick 8.

Miles will be swapping between the wing and ruck-rover positions this week.

I'll be interested if Hill is a proper league player yet, as anytime we have watched him he's been decidedly average and lacks basic footy instincts.
School's in tomorrow

On current form of Hill and his opponent, I am expecting 8 goals from Wundke

I think after 5 clubs in about 5 years everyone lost track of who owes who what.

Motlop should be paying clubs to give him a game not the other way around

Well when Port offered him to us the transfer fee to Peel Thunder was around the 30k mark and not negotiable.
I am more than a little surprised to see him playing for North. Perhaps he paid for the transfer fee himself or got help from a sponsor?

Has Motlop been at North all season or is he a late arrival?

Late arrival.
Played for two WAFL clubs in recent years and actually made the WAFL team of the year.
