The Port Power Reserves had a solid win against the Eagles last week and are starting to look ominous while the Bloods are starting to feel the pressure of not registering a win as yet in 2014...

You would expect the Magpies to go in as very strong favourites wile West Adelaide will need to be at their absolute best to be competitive...

Going to be very tough to win this one and that will make a finals berth difficult even at this early stage of the year. Would expect Norwood, Eagles and Port to win a high % of their games from here on in and North, Sturt and South have already got 3-4 games ahead of us in a shortened season. Someone got our start to the year horribly wrong through coaching, recruiting and team preparation. Looking very amateurish at this point in time.

Mentioned on last weeks Westies game thread that a west could be in trouble for season 2014 if they lost to North and got told I was kidding myself!!!

Only gonna get harder with Port this week.

West need to win this however I'm not sure anyone can beat Port at the mo. (No I'm not kidding)

West to win by 3 goals and South to lose by 6 goals. Order in the football world is now restored.

Too early in my mind to be ringing alarm bells about the Port Power reserves. They've beaten last years ( and this years) wooden spooners and the Eagles.

I reckon by round 9 we'll have a much clearer picture of just how good they are...

Regardless, they should be playing under the exact same conditions as the Adelaide Crows reserves.
