Norwood's (and Central's) Ch9 partnership raises question

Note this section of the article:
SANFL general manager of football Chris Davies said the agreement had not created any conflict with Channel 7.
“The SANFL does not need to sign off on the arrangement, it is an agreement between the television station and club,” he said.


This raises the question: Why couldn't North have Coopers as a sponsor?

Story should have mentioned that Nine's sign at Lizbef Oval needed to be covered for tv coverage on Saturday.

It did in a roundabout way by saying that they won't be displaying signage at televised games.....

Didn't South have to cover Solo advertising on their guernseys a few seasons back, when they signed Schweppes as a major sponsor, due to the SANFL having an agreement with Coca-Cola?

Ive already noticed a Dogs ad during the Footy Show a couple of weeks ago, if through these partnerships they get reasonably cheap advertising at peak times it can only be a good thing.
