Foxtel Cup 2014 - West In, North Out ???

SANFL have announced that West & Norwood will be the 2 SANFL teams in next years comp.

Were North bypassed or did they decline to participate ?

Should also be the first time an SANFL club plays on the new Adelaide Oval. (assuming one of them gets a home game before being eliminated)

Or are there only two spots this year and Norwood gets the invite as the reigning premier, while Westies are the carry over champions of Australia, hence their spot?

I was hoping someone would enjoy that reference ;)
It is a TV comp, no offence to those who have taken part.
Maybe Fox could add another element to it by putting a spot on an AFL list available to players in an Aussie Rules Superstar type of quest played out throughout the competition.

And at the end of each game, players need to gather at the Tribal Council and vote off a player
