One obvious person missed, as Rucci pointed out in today's paper...

Geoff Motley...

Presumably the new Southern Stand will still be known as The Bradman Stand. Then I guess they'll name the Western Stand after 5 cricketers as they have done the Eastern Stand with the footballers? Statues of cricketers to join Gillespie and Lehmann will be George Giffen and Clem Hill.

Would guess Ian & Greg Chappell, Les Favell, Victor Richardson, David Hookes, Clarrie Grimmett would all be acknowledged in some way as well as some others.

I thought it might be appropriate to name a bar after Grenville Dietrich ;)

John Olson rang a member of the Morialty family to announce that they would like to name a bar after Dan Morialty. Upon pointing out that he was a teatotaller and thus this would be innapropriate, he suggested perhaps a BBQ area. Will there be drinking there? Umm, Yes. See answer to question 1.

So they named the BBQ area after Graham Cornes. Was he really a premier of this state?

How Leigh Whicker who didnt even want to go to Adelaide Oval can get named ahead of Geoff Motley who won 9 Premierships PLAYING at Adelaide Oval is staggering!

How Leigh Whicker has managed to hold down a job that involved reading and writing is staggering.

It's been another class performance from the commission.

Is there anything they didn't name? A toilet maybe...

The "Olsen Outhouse" or just simply the "John"
The "Honest Joe Urinal" or "Tripodi Toilet" has a nice sound to it

Agreed, but on that note there should also be something named after Chris and James Gowans - 18 Premierships between them, a world record for twins I would think!

Cheers

Leigh Whicker having a dining room named after him is ironic seeing it is his company that won the catering contract for AO! No insider trader "nepotism" there!

What a bunch of fools and crooks!
