The SANFL had the chance this week to change their pricing for the finals
Why not Adults $10 - free Parking AND kids 0-17 FREE -?
BUT NO, let charge kids $4 each for the first time this year.... With crowds down since the SANFL sold it soul to the AFL clubs, what an opportunity to get more people with good weather and good finals games... Slug AFL crowds extra $$$ and promote grass roots footy SANFL

The SANFL has the same mentality as our State Government......make the people pay more for less.

I mentioned this in another thread... but now you can't see both finals anymore. That was one of the nice things about the double headers, you could go and spend the day seeing two back to back finals, now you can't.
It was a nice lazy day out watching some football...
Hopefully, when Adelaide Oval is up, they go back to the double headers. While I understand they're trying to get a better atmosphere at smaller grounds with smaller crowds and I do support that, I now find myself less interested in going compared to when the double headers were available.
Then again, the face of the SANFL has changed considerably in the last couple of months too...

Erh.... it is a double header at AAMI Stadium this Sunday.
My beef is the SANFL club Home Match & Season Ticket holders (the most loyal of SANFL fans we need to keep) being sent to the outer, rather than being able to pay to get access to the Members.

Lol WTF?
Mind you I won't be bothering with the second game, never do.

The SANFL is run by people who have no feel for the game and are completely inadequate and should be cleaned out and replaced with people who care what the public actually WANT !

$15 is good value for two SANFL finals. Free car parking as well. Love the double header finals in the first two weeks.
More an issue with $14 for a normal minor round game. That should be less.

Ditto
There you have it - $7.50 per game this week
Should be that every minor round game

Buy a club membership and it works out like that.
Plenty of people buy a club membership and if they cant attend they hand to a mate.
By far the best value for money

very true Jim, but surely a cheaper entry price will help attract those bandwagoners and people trying to fill in a fri night or a sun arvo

Yes the SANFL should be trying to attract neutral supporters because the clubs playing will certainly turn up.
I still see it as $15 a game because most will arrive just before the second game or leave after the first game depending on who they follow.

Typical... league app said both games were on at 2:10pm, so I thought they were being played at home grounds...

Correct (other than the bandwagoners comment

)
I have other commitments on Saturdays so only think about going when there is, say, a Friday night game
It is just not worth $15 plus the food and fuel
It's not that I cant afford it, its just not worth it

We pay $14 for a minor round game though.
