Sturt showing some grit at the wrong end of the season. All they can do now is to help reshape the five.

Took my daughter to her first football game today... Sturt v Port... my absolutely favourite fixture of the season.

I can't help but feel sad that it will be coming to an end soon...

As for the game, Sturt just seemed to edge Port when it mattered. Seamus has got the team to 7 wins, but they need to beat South and finish with 8 to really register the year as an improvement on the last. Obviously avoiding the spoon is a great achievement, but we don't want to get into the routine of thinking that's a positive in itself.

A good, entertaining and competitive match.

Sturt need to beat South in what I think will be a tough, close contest...

We were our own worst enemy today. Poor decision making and poor skills really cost us.
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

Good win yesterday, our young kids are coming along beautifully, great effort by Tom Hurley with 13 marks, 17 kicks and 10 handballs, another good game by Page also.
Was interesting to chat to a few Port supporters who are pretty disenchanted with their future and said they'd walk away if they became Power reserves. I hate Port but for supporters like these I feel sorry for them.....as for the others, it's good to see the Cro Magnons go home unhappy.

Think your kids will hold you in better stead for 2014 than many have considered.

I too feel sorry for the Port supporters who will walk when the Power reserves come in. Same with followers of any other club who decide to pull the pin.
