Great to read on Pg 50 of the Sunday Mail that a few clubs have officially lodged a request with the SANFL for enquiry into the dropping of the Norwood & West recruiting bans.

Rightly so and would be nice if something comes of this. However i doubt it. Can't beat city hall.

I'm sure North fans would be pissed, with the headline of the story reading "Concessions to Roosters, Bloods raise ire of clubs". Even though the body of the story never mentions the Roosters. Bad slip-up there Ben Hook.
At least it's been rectified in the online version.

In line with the disgraceful behind closed doors decision. SANFL Directors and Commission are a bunch of fat old boy crooks.

Even as a West fan I am staggered that we can claim a recruit in exchange for Rutten. Porps is also highly unexpected given his limited involvement with us and ditto Laird in recent times. All 3 combined have not been worth one recruit this year, to get three for them would be a huge bonus.

We cant afford 3 recruits - rather keep the three and have NO scumbags that sever NO south Aussies in our league
